Tannenberg is a squad-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game set during World War I. It is a standalone expansion to Verdun.
Tannenberg is inspired by the 1914 Battle of Tannenberg in East Prussia. The game includes historically accurate World War I weapons, authentic uniforms and equipment, detailed injury and gore modeling, and maps based on the real battlefields of the Eastern Front.
I have worked on multiple individual systems for the game. Most of the time I had to expand their functionality or fix bugs in them. One example of this would the voice chat feature. I added the option for squad leader to be able to talk to each other without having the entire team listen in.
A feature which I created from scratch was the prestige system. Whenever a player reached level 100, he or she would get the option to convert the levels into a prestige rank. To create it I had change how experience was used and calculated throughout the game.
